Bit about crashing III

This one crash anecdote is Kat's favorite:

I live on a street that over the past year or so has became an avenue with a stop light at the corner and the whole deal. So, it was morning time on that particular day for some reason my hubby was at home and I did have to go to work, also my uncle who lives in Austria was at the house visiting on vacation...
anyway, I get ready for work and I get into my car, open the gate and start backing out, slowly, not even pressing on the gas, just letting the car go smoothly, there was no car on the street, I could back out freely... and I turn to my left to see my coworker who I used to carpool with and I say hi and wave when all of a sudden, OH-OH I bump into something, I look at my rear view mirror and I see a beige Lincoln Navigator behind me!! My blood drops to my feet and I guess color abandoned me, I immediately get out of the car to see what I had just done and see to my great surprise that NOTHING HAD HAPPENED, my bumper stopped against the Lincoln's tire and a wave of relief washes over me, when all of a sudden I start hearing a big man saying: "you stupid bi*ch look what you did, aren't you looking at where you're going?"
Me, eyes hanging out say: "I'm so sorry sir, I didn't see you, but look, no harm was done"
- Man - well yeah no harm was done, no thanks to you you stupid bi*ch
- Me - excuse me but there is no need to get nasty, I'm telling you I'm sorry and that nothing happened, what else do you want?
- Man turns to my coworker (a wimpy guy haha) - and you, you idiot, why don't you tell her that there is a car behind her, you are looking at me, and looking at her back out and you don't say anything?
- Coworker - Me? Why me?
-Man turns back to me - so why don't you see where you're going, what if it hadn't been the tire? you bi*ch, you idiot and just about any bad word he could remember, he said, and occasionally turned to my coworker to call him an idiot to what he always replied: - Coworker - Me? Why me?

Finally, after the man gets tired of cussing at me he gets back into his truck, rolls down the passenger window and cusses at me some more, to which I reply - Me - What else do you want? Just leave!!
- Man - What if I don't want to leave you stupid bi*ch, etc etc etc
- Me - Well then you know what FU*K YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
- Man - oh yeah (he gets out of the car, goes around to my passenger's side and kicks the mirror off my car... OH YEAH!! that thing flew like 6 feet into the air and landed on the middle of the street, he got back on his truck and said...) what are you going to do about that? go ahead and call the police you !#!$&"%$#%/&%/&%(/$%&/(&%)%/()=&(=/$%&"$#%! #"$%!"#$!"# $!"#$!"#& /%/$%)%=$%&"%!$! "#$!"#$!"##$.

At that moment I was speechless because the man got out of his car to hit me, but the way we were positioned he could not get to me because a tree was on my left side of the car and my front was against the closed gate, my back against his truck so I was in a small square at the center... he kept cussing at me for a while and finally took off.

I was left SO freakingly MAD, I felt so much impotence and I couldn't believe my coworker only said "me, why me??" that idiot!! I drove to work and cried all the way because I was just speachless, overwhelmed and worried, what if he went to look for me some other day to make a bigger deal out of things? what if he tried to do something while I had Saul with me who was only a couple months old back then?

When I got home that day my hubby and my uncle were like "why didn't you call us? we could have gone outside to help you" and I was like yeah sure I should have told the man "wait a minute, let me knock on my door to get my hubby out here so HE CAN KICK YOUR ASS!! Right!!". But I do agree with them and anyone who I told this to that my coworker should have at least tried to calm the beast down, or for him to have knocked on the door or just DONE SOMETHING.

This has definitely been my worst crashing experience and I hope that man gets what he deserves one of these days!!

No More Daycare!!

After our little disagreement with the Nurse at Daycare yesterday, I complained to my aunt about how unhappy we are with this woman's attitude and she tells me these sweet words (music to my ears) "Well forget about those bi*ches I can take care of him again, he is a big boy who can do things on his own now and I don't have to carry him around all the time, so leave him with me!!" I was like "are you sure, cause I will take you up on that!!" and she replied "yes I'm sure, leave him here"...

A bit of history - my aunt took care of Saul ever since he was about 2 months old, when my maternity leave ended from work, and she took care of him up to nine months ago, when she was told she had to undergo cervical spine surgery - at that moment my very first worry was for her to be ok because she was told if she didn't have the surgery she could be left paralyzed from her neck down at any moment; and Secondly, where would I take my son? That is why we took him to this daycare near my house. Which honestly he never really liked, he was there for 9 months and he cried everyday he was dropped off, they had told me 2 months at most was ok, but even they "couldn't" explain why he still cried. From the moment he went into daycare he was in potty training and never did he spend a full day without wetting his pants!! We tried everything: rewards/punishments after desperation and nothing worked...

AND guess what was his gift to me yesterday? His first actual daycare drop out day?? HE went potty all day long by himself!!

When I went to pick him up at my aunts house last night she told me in the morning he told her he didn't want to wear a diaper any more... so she took it off, and from then on, when he wanted to go potty he told her "Abu - pipi" and ran to the restroom, pulled down his pants, went pipi, pulled his pants up and washed his hands, ALL ON HIS OWN!!! That is just a triple reward for me!! No more nasty nurse seeing, no more pooped undies AND no more buying diapers, YAAAY!! (the funny side: he can't really make it all fall into the toilet bowl but that's okay!! hahaha I think I might have to spend this weekend cleaning my aunt's restroom!!)

What do I hate more... Mondays or Daycare?

A bit of history... my car's signaling system was down thanks to the guy who supposedly fixed it 1.5 wks ago, so Saturday my hubby took my car to the mechanic, where they said it had a short circuit and he had to leave it there to be picked up until today - MONDAY - also, my son has had sort of like stomach flu and they called us on Friday morning at around 10 am to tell us that we had to go pick him up because he was pooping left and right and it didn't smell very good (when does it ever smell good? one would think that by running a daycare they would know it never smells good!!) Any how my sweet hubby went to go pick him up and spent the day taking him to his pediatrician and to "The Clinic" (I'll explain more about The Clinic some other day).

So moving on, the weekend goes by (oh sadness) it is Monday morning, I need to get ready fast so that I can catch the company's bus to work (its a long commute) so I get ready, I get my lunch and my hubby's lunch packed, I got my laptop, I got my keys, and I got spare change to take the public bus that will take me to my work's bus stop... its all good, I'm on time, I'm thinking I'll be able to catch a nap while I get to work, so I get off bus number 1, I'm standing at the bus stop for bus number 2... IF ONLY... I had remembered to get my work badge out of my car that is now sitting at the shop!! Oh yeah, I forgot it, and guess what? The bus driver does not let you ride the bus UNLESS you have your badge! And guess what else? I have NO more money to take a bus back home!! I start thinking this has got to be a bad, sad, pathetic joke of a Monday... I call a friend that lives near by to see if she could give me a ride, Oh no, she is ASLEEP!! and she has the nerve to tell me "well I was planning to go to work around 9 am today, does that work for you? Ummmhh hello!! NO it doesn't work for me, it is 7.10 in the morning and I'm ready to go!! So then I call my hubby (who is at home getting our son ready for daycare) and I tell him the news and he is like "ok, let me take Saul to Daycare and then I'll go pick you up, take you to work then I'll go to work - needless to say our workplaces are like way totally and completely opposite from each other - so then like 5 minutes later he calls me yelling "the stupid nurse will not take Saul, she says - The Clinic gave Saul a waiver for 3 days!! Sat, Sun and Mon - to which I told her NO it is for Fri that he had to go early, Sat and Sun!! and she said - NO sorry we won't take him in!! - So I just walked outta there and SLAMMED the door so hard I don't think they will be able to open it any time soon, of course Saul is happy to not have to stay there so can you please call your aunt to see if she can take care of him today? So unfortunately I have to call my aunt, wake her up and tell her can you pretty please please please take care of Saul today? and gladly she happily said "yes of course!" so Em picks me up, we go drop Saul off, and he starts crying saying he wants to come with me... so we drive off leaving him crying behind us!! AARRGGGHH... and Em is really really really angry driving like a nut thru the freeway, so I'm like hey, chill, its done!! there's nothing else we can do about anything so just breathe and be good, and thankfully he did and I got safely to work.

Final step, get into the company's campus - when you don't have your badge one must go to the security stop at the entrance and sign in, show an ID and give your worker's number, they call in the security office inside your building (there is 6 in this campus) and ask if you do belong to that building, so he makes the call and they say yes employee number #$"#$#" John Doe, so the guard says No its a girl, verify that, after like another 5 minutes they reply NO that number doesn't exist and the guard says No, check that again number bla bla bla bla bla... and like 10 minutes later they say OK Let Her In!! I mean seriously!! WHO THE HECK WOULD DRIVE WAY OUT THERE TO TRY TO GET IN TO THEIR STUPID BUILDINGS WILLINGLY? To go sightseeing may be?? NOOOO AAARRRGGGHHHH

This Monday BETTER pick up during the day, we got time!! You Can Do It!!

Bit about crashing II

ok so, the second time I crashed...

the group that I was working with was almost fully changed and the new boss decided to take the new group out to lunch, our company is out on the highway and we were going to have a lunch to a near by town that is popular for having very nice restaurants.

So it was 4 guys and me, and we didn't all fit in one car because honestly 2 of them needed the space. So my boss offered to take his car with one of the guys and I took the other 2 guys in my car, we are "racing" thru the highway and all of sudden, going up a little hill we fall into this dip and because of the speed and the hill, we literally flew!! Yes, we were ejected thru the highway like a canon ball,

I seriously felt like we were in an episode of the Dukes of Hazzard, oh my goodness, as we hit the ground my car starts wobbling on both lanes, and I kept holding on to the wheel so tight because it was really hard to keep it controlled, I was very close to hitting the safety concrete wall in the middle of the road!! Thank God no car was near me because I would have either landed on it or crashed against it. Finally the car spins one and half times around and I land on the ditch on the side of the road!!

Right away my boss who was driving in front of us pulled over, and a car that was coming behind us also stopped to see if we were all ok, thankfully no harm was done, to anyone and my car was just a bit scratched on the front from the ditch we fill in...

Any how, that was a closed one and I'm glad we were all able to come out safely, of course right after the scare passed we continued our way to our lunch and we laughed about it the rest of the day.

Bit about crashing I

Yes, crashing, in real life, while you are driving... boy have I got crashing experience, which is not necessarily good I know!!

So this was my first crash: I was barely learning how to drive, and my uncle decides to go pick up one of his cars which was in the shop, and for me to drive back the car we would drive in to go pick it up the other one. So, we are on our way back, my uncle a high speeder by nature is soaring through the streets, me - eyes bulging out holding on to the steering wheel for dear life chasing behind him!!

ALL OF A SUDDEN he makes an unexpected turn and so there I gooo (my first highspeed turn) haha yes I crashed, very lightly against a very very very thin tree in the center divider!! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE FACE ON THE MAN DRIVING THE MINIVAN "behind" that very thin tree...

Honestly it was more like I bumped than crashed, I backed out and pulled over to where my uncle (LAUGHING!!) was waiting for me, thank goodness there was NO harm done to anyone, not the poor thin tree, not the car and well the man might have gotten the scare of his life but that was just a little adrenaline rush to lighten up his day!!

Finally Friday!!!

soo YES!! Friday is finally here I've been waiting on this day since Monday!!

And just to give a little continuity to my blogs, I ended up going to bed last night at 12:30 a.m. OMG I want to go home and take a nap (this hardly ever happens so, good luck to me)!!

Have a happy and restful weekend!

My first time

Ok so I've been checking out blogs lately, how awesome to read that so many other people have good and bad days like I do... just makes me feel like the "eye" is not ONLY watching me.
Also to learn so many things about others, this definitely rocks!

A little intro, Im - well, no need to say my age, but I'am married (almost 4 yrs in August) and I have a 2 and a half year old son named Saul - yes of course he is asleep, how else would I be able to spend time doing this? I live in Guadalajara-Mexico, I love music, reading, watching movies and of course playing with my son.

I work for an electronic manufacturing company and lately working hours have been LONG, needless to say I always go to sleep late, tonight will not be the exception, it is already 9:35 pm and I need to cook my hubby and my meal for tomorrow, I need to get Saul's diaper bag ready for daycare, I need to read about five documents by tomorrow because oh yes, on top of all the work I have I need to make a document that describes the processes for my activities. Enough about work...

Well more like enough about blogging... cooking time, good night... its almost Friday YAAAAAAY!!!
